Built like the standard Aerojet driver, the hybrid’s head features a sleek, all-black finish. The face sits a bit taller than most hybrids and for high handicappers, and that’s a very good thing because the face covers more of the golf ball to produce better overall contact.
Along the sole, the Aerojet hybrid adopts the same head design as the Aerojet driver, so you’ll see across-the-board symmetry in your golf bag.
While the head design certainly provides a modernistic look, the light blue stationary weight placed along the sole is less appealing against the red, white, and black color palette of the club line.
Most golfers want clubs that produce a pleasing sound that doesn’t distract them on the course. Our testers universally noted that the Cobra Aerojet hybrid delivered a smooth, non-irritating sound at impact.
Even with the taller face, the new Aerojet hybrid doesn’t sound thin. Even on shots that need forgiveness from the toe or heel section of the hitting area, the sound remains strong, providing the confidence that can help a golfer struggling with consistency.
