Built like the standard Aerojet driver, the hybrid’s head features a sleek, all-black finish. The face sits a bit taller than most hybrids and for high handicappers, and that’s a very good thing because the face covers more of the golf ball to produce better overall contact.
Along the sole, the Aerojet hybrid adopts the same head design as the Aerojet driver, so you’ll see across-the-board symmetry in your golf bag.
While the head design certainly provides a modernistic look, the light blue stationary weight placed along the sole is less appealing against the red, white, and black color palette of the club line.
Sound
Most golfers want clubs that produce a pleasing sound that doesn’t distract them on the course. Our testers universally noted that the Cobra Aerojet hybrid delivered a smooth, non-irritating sound at impact.
Even with the taller face, the new Aerojet hybrid doesn’t sound thin. Even on shots that need forgiveness from the toe or heel section of the hitting area, the sound remains strong, providing the confidence that can help a golfer struggling with consistency.
Feel

On shots that strayed from center, the Cobra Aerojet maintained ball speed and kept the ball from straying too far away from the target.

When we got the Cobra Aerojet hybrid on the Trackman, we found top-tier ball speeds with mid-level spin. You want your hybrids to produce that steep landing angle onto the green so you can hold shots from distances over 200 yards.

The Cobra Aerojet hybrid has undoubtedly earned its place next to the biggest and brightest of the new 2023 hybrid releases.
Not only does the Cobra hybrid provide a clean look at address, but the club packs a punch, delivering high launch and increased ball speed to mid and high handicappers.
Powered by the standard-length KBS PGI stock shaft, we were very impressed with the spin rates and carry distance of the Cobra Aerojet hybrid. We also found the club is forgiving primarily due to Cobra’s patented Pwrshell face design.
