Odyssey Ai-ONE Putters Overview
There are two new putter lines in the Ai-ONE series from Odyssey.
The first one, the Ai-ONE, comes to market at a lower price, around $300 per putter, with fewer bells and whistles than its big brother, the Ai-ONE Milled series.
With the standard Ai-One, Odyssey has included a urethane insert to promote consistent ball speed across the entire face.
Odyssey’s testing claims the urethane insert leaves putts 21% closer to the hole over other new putters, such as the Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2.
With a $150 price difference compared to the Milled putters, the new Odyssey Ai-ONE might not have the flair of its counterpart, but it provides better distance control and strong accuracy compared to other putters at the $300 price point.
For the money, you get a milled stainless steel head and jaw-dropping navy blue PVD finish. It’s undeniable how dazzling the Ai-ONE putters look on the course and in the golf bag.
And for golfers, the results justify the extra dollars. Not only are there five Odyssey Ai-ONE putters to choose from, but these Ai-ONE models offer incredible lag control and a lower three-putt percentage than most putters on the market today.
Odyssey Ai-ONE Putter Features
White Hot Face Insert
The Ai-ONE putters utilize the soft White Hot Urethane insert. The insert delivers exceptional touch from long and short distances to help you find consistency with your ball speeds.
Also, the Ai-ONE putters minimize skidding and hopping after impact due to the advanced insert.
Ai Window
On the standard Odyssey Ai-One putter, the company has included an Ai window behind the face so golfers can see the back surface of the unique insert.
The Panlite window uses an automotive-grade polymer to highlight the unique curvature of the aluminum backer of the insert.
PVD Finish
The standard Odyssey Ai-ONE putters feature a beautiful PVD finish that comes in navy blue. The putter looks outstanding in the golf bag, especially on the green when knocking down birdies.
Odyssey engineers wanted the PVD finish because it gives the Ai-ONE putters a sophisticated, high-end look.
SL 90 Stroke Lab Shafts
Both Ai-ONE putters take advantage of the lightweight Stroke Lab shafts that so many Odyssey putters enjoy.
With 20-30 grams of counterbalance weight in the butt end of the shaft, golfers can feel the smoothness in every stroke.
Interchangeable Front Weights
With all Odyssey Ai-ONE putters, golfers can adjust the weight through the company’s interchangeable front weight kit.
Available in 5, 10, 15, and 20-gram options, players can adjust their speed control and improve the performance of their off-center hits with the weighting system.

- Head Weight: 355 grams
- Toe Hang: 47°
Pros
- Lightweight and accurate
- Soft Urethane Ai-ONE insert
- Very forgiving with complete milled face
Cons
- Doesn’t have size or balance of the Ai-ONE mallet models
When it comes to traditional, nothing beats the #1 CH model of the standard Ai-ONE putters.
Featuring a White Hot Urethane Ai-ONE insert, the #1 CH (short for crank hosel) offers a lightweight feel that had my putts rolling smoothly and accurately.
This soft insert material impacts golf balls with enhanced grab for improved consistency, while enabling the highly engineered patterns on the insert face to further elevate topspin and forward roll.
As a result, the insert prevents skidding and hopping off the face, something I could immediately tell on the practice green. The responsive urethane compound also optimizes both sound and soft, yet satisfying, feel on center strikes.
I also loved how the putter offered premium distance control on my lag putts over 30 feet. Dialing in the right distance on long lag putts with the Odyssey Ai-ONE #1 CH was easy, thanks to the pinpoint alignment of the high-contrast sightline.
The Ai Window frames golf balls flawlessly from behind, zeroing face aim with prismatic clarity no matter the distance. Milled carbon steel and White Hot insert provide precision through the break.
Simply by trusting the Ai-ONE alignment line, I found exceptional accuracy on difficult lag putts at high rates.
If you are in the market for a traditional blade putter, the #1 CH provides significant toe hang for that arc stroke.
Great for all golfers, the Odyssey Ai-ONE #1 CH putter delivers a satisfying experience with terrific benefits for mid handicappers.

Specifications
- Head: Blade
- Loft: 3 degrees
- Length: 33-35 inches
- Head Weight: 360 grams
- Toe Hang: 20°
Pros
- Great for slight arc stroke
- Heavier feel with no additional weight
- Impressive performance on lag putts
Cons
- Larger blade footprint feels like a modified mallet
The Double Wide DB offers a larger blade with a double bend shaft and minimal toe hang for a cleaner, more solid feel at impact.
This putter toes the line between a traditional blade and a modified mallet, but for golfers who want a bulkier blade style, the Double Wide DB certainly fits that need from the Ai-ONE lineup.
When lag putting from extended ranges, a bigger, wider blade, like the Double Wide DB, inspires confidence by providing a more stable base for my stroke firmly without twisting the face.
The larger footprint behind my golf ball also improved my alignment on long-distance attempts by offering more visualization opportunities.
The putter’s increased MOI also prevented the dreaded off-center strike, but make no mistake, this milled face offers exceptional forgiveness that keeps putts on line. The inviting insert performs admirably even with the larger putter head.
Simply put, while the Double Wide DB welcomes the steady hand of an experienced golfer, if you are a beginner, there’s enough correction here to keep your putts on target.
I feel that high handicappers can benefit most from this putter, taking advantage of its distance control and the soft Ai-ONE insert.

Cons
- Larger, heavier mallet shape
The new favorite putter of the $500 million man, Jon Rahm, the Odyssey Ai-ONE Rossie delivers a well-balanced, even-handed performance to golfers needing a more consistent ball speed from their flatstick.
My choice for the best standard mallet putter of the Odyssey Ai-ONE line is the Rossie, which truly excels on short range putts within 10 feet of the hole.
I was stunned by how the putter’s efficient roll promoted impressive accuracy, aided by the aforementioned Urethane White Hot insert that provides an enhanced feel.
The rounded shape offers premium alignment while framing the ball at address. With perimeter weighting that tightens dispersion, this putter makes holing out from short range an easily repeatable experience.
With a short slant neck hosel, this rounded mallet offers a wider Ai-ONE insert than a traditional milled putter for better responsiveness and a more forgiving impact area.
The dual-lined alignment guide along the back surface helped me center my putts from shorter distances, providing a higher percentage of made putts inside 10 feet.
Great for advanced players, the Ai-ONE Rossie offers tour-level performance at a much lower price than the Odyssey Ai-ONE Milled putters.

- Larger forked design is not for everyone
One of my favorites, and the preferred putter of PGA Tour pro Sam Burns in the Odyssey Ai-ONE series, is the #7 S putter. With its forked head shape, the #7 S delivers balance to the golf ball.
When I say this Odyssey Ai-ONE mallet is smooth, I really mean as silky as you can find on the market today.
For me, the #7 S from the Odyssey Ai-ONE series stands out for its high MOI design that enhances performance on off-center strikes.
Thanks to perimeter weighting that concentrates mass far from the face, mishits lose less energy and stay online more easily. This forgiveness preserves consistency so you can attack putts confidently.
I found at address that the more compact mallet shape framed by double wings aligns intuitively every time.
From short-range putts to long-range benders, the Ai-ONE #7 S proved to be one of the more efficient options in the Odyssey Ai-ONE series with its impressively well-rounded capabilities.
This putter is an assassin from short distances, ideal for high handicappers and beginning golfers. Experienced players will love how the putter performs from longer lengths, as it routinely gets you close to the cup to help you save more pars.

Another winged mallet from the Odyssey Ai-ONE line, the #7 CH offers golfers an alternative for those that don’t want toe hang. Best for straight-back strokes, the #7 CH delivers exceptional ball speed that stays true to your intended line.
I liked how the putter’s crank-neck hosel shifts weight toward the face, eliminating toe hang while still allowing versatility. The hosel helps the #7 CH provide a firm, crisp response at impact for superb distance control.
